Unexpected competition-closed message?

Double check the guidelines to be sure you're trying an open category, but if you are, you've come upon the rare, but frustrating, "false competition-closed" message. Don't worry: It's easily fixed! (And we always have a one-week grace period.) Here's how to fix the problem:
The false "competition closed" message may be fixed by "clearing the cache" on the browser.
In Internet Explorer:
  • Log out from the Glimmer Train Press site.
  • Click on the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  • In the Browsing history section on the General tab click on Delete.
  • In the section Temporary Internet Files click on Delete Files.
  • Check the box Delete all offline content, then Click OK.
  • Click OK again.
  • Close and restart Internet Explorer.
  • Login in to Glimmer Train Press and try again.
Be sure NOT to use the Back and Forward buttons on the browser, use only the buttons that are part of the submission process.
We look forward to reading your story!
