Glimmer Train Stories and Writers Ask are both quarterlies, (and there are just the two of us here), but we process orders once a week. Your fax and phoned-in orders are forwarded to Kathy at the subscription house in NJ, and unless you have an older subscription envelope, all your mailed orders go directly to Kathy for processing. We ship by periodicals rate since it costs 1/10 of first class mail and we are, after all, a literary (which can also be read “unintentionally non-profit”) publisher. So, generally, you can plan on 2-3 weeks for delivery of your first issue. If you ever have a problem, though, don't hesitate to contact us; we'll be happy to work things out with you.
