Is it okay to submit the same piece again?

The simple answer is yes. You are always welcome to submit a story you have previously submitted as long as it qualifies for the category. Be aware that all competition submissions are also automatically considered as standards so there's no need to make a separate standard submission when you're making a competition submission. It makes particularly good sense to resubmit a story at a later date if you’ve made improvements to the piece. (We love watching a writer’s progress!)
If, on the other hand, you're concerned simply about an error in your submissions, see also: Oops!
